Author Blog Challenge – And the Contenders are…

Well, well, well … we made it through all the prompts. Now, we’re down to less than 2 days and the inaugural Author Blog Challenge will come to a close. We’ve had so many great participants, posts, conversations, and experiences over this last month or so. But this is the part where the truly committed are recognized.

Here’s a toast to the Contenders!

Here’s the list of the Author Blog Challenge participants in the running to win the whole enchilada! Argue if you must, but I went back and checked out the blogs of everyone who was even close to having posted every day. If you’re not on the list, you missed at least one post along the way. [A side note for those of you who don’t put dates on your posts: What the hell’s up with that? Unless you’re writing always on evergreen topics, readers who stumble upon you a year from now deserve to know when the post originated.]

Tia Bach
T.L. Bodine
Alexander Cherry
Chazz Chute
Merlene Fawdrey
Elise Fee
Rebecca Fyfe
Ashley Howland
Melissa Khalinsky
Alana Mautone
Ellie Mendez
Jo Michaels
Liberty Montano
Jenni Parry
Dorothy Ruppert

The people on this list are current, through the Day 26 post. I haven’t factored in Day 27 yet, or Day 28, as that is tomorrow. If your name’s not here and you want to qualify, you must have posts on your blog for all 28 days of the Author Blog Challenge by tomorrow night at 10 p.m. PDT. Fair is fair, and those are the rules we laid out from the beginning.

DAILY RECAPS

The Day 26 prompt asked participants to describe their NEXT books. Click here for the Day 26 Recap.

ON TO THE FUN STUFF…

Winner for Day 26 Sarah Benson. She wins a gift from Marcie Brock – Book Marketing Maven! It is a PDF copy of a Little Book of Writing Prompts. Sometimes the ideas assail us, unbidden, faster and more furiously than we could ever hope to capture them all. Other times, we need — or want — some help to fire up those creative embers. May the prompts on these pages — as well as the accompanying images — inspire you to craft stories, poems, songs, and other creative pieces from your imagination.

Thanks to Kebba Buckley Button for the Day 27 donation! It is a PDF copy of her book Peace Within. This book is intended to be used as a general guide and source of inspiration. It contains poetry, prose, photos, and quotes to help you reach a state of inner peace.

DAILY WRITING PROMPTS
