Author Blog Challenge – Writing Prompt #28

This is it! The FINAL writing prompt of the Challenge. Of course, the Author Blog Challenge doesn’t officially end until June 29, when we actually post our links on this prompt … and even then, there will be a couple days’ housekeeping, in terms of determining who participated all 28 days (I cannot believe it’s only been 28 days). We’ll keep this blog open, of course, and the Facebook group, as well. So please feel free to continue to chat amongst yourselves and post your links. (Though I may spend a week on my private island recovering before I comment on any posts dated June 30 or later.)

Hat’s off to all who participated, even in passing!

The Day 25 prompt asked Challenge participants to give some shout-outs to those who helped bring their books to life. Click here for the Day 25 Recap.

If you’d like to see ALL the writing prompts that have been released to date, please visit the PROMPTS page.

Winner for Day 25 Rachel Edge. She wins a gift from Jo Michaels! It is a Smashwords copy of Jo’s eBook, Yassa. This is actually a double giveaway, because there’s a code in the back of the book for a free copy of The Abigale Chronicles – Book One, as well. Those with young readers may appreciate that. View the book here: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/168621

Thanks to Marcie Brock – Book Marketing Maven for the Day 26 donation! It is a PDF copy of a Little Book of Writing Prompts. Sometimes the ideas assail us, unbidden, faster and more furiously than we could ever hope to capture them all. Other times, we need — or want — some help to fire up those creative embers.
May the prompts on these pages — as well as the accompanying images — inspire you to craft stories, poems, songs, and other creative pieces from your imagination.

Onward we go with the 28th writing prompt of the challenge…
