Author Blog Challenge – Writing Prompt #2
So you’ve had your first taste of the Author Blog Challenge writing prompts. Did it inspire any ideas for you? Anyone catch my goofy punctuation error? Ahhh, they say sleep is overrated, but I suspect it’s pretty damned necessary when it comes to proper spelling, grammar, and all those pesky little details.
Onward we go with the 2nd writing prompt of the challenge:
What kinds of classes, programs, or workshops have you taken to hone your skill as a writer? What sorts of exercises did/do you use to improve your craft? Have you ever taught a writing class or workshop?
Just in case any of you are wondering, I’ll be participating in the Challenge via the Marice Brock blog. I was looking over the prompts last night. Some have obvious responses, for me, while others will require me to to dig a little deeper. I’ll be interested to see the directions you all decide to take with them!
Writing Prompt #1:
Describe your earliest memory of writing. How did your writing habit/process/career develop?
OK … one more day till liftoff!
